where from can I download good quality Indian classical music both instrumental and vocals for free? Ares sucks, never gets conneted, googling is most misleading! Which is the best community / Forum for Indian classical music discussions? I want to near to some vintage stuff.

It my be too late to respond to Adishesh_e ... but I would warmly recommend Patrick Moutal's website, http://moutal.eu : more than 700mp3 and videos recordings, including very rare archives, are available for downloading (for free) !!!!
Moutal has studied sitar at Banaras Hindu University (doctorate) with late Pt Lalmani Misra and Dr K. C. Gangrade. He is teaching hindustani classical music at the Paris Conservatoire.
