Oh, heck yes. For some people it takes a bit of maturity to have an appreciation for classical but honestly, people love going for an evening concert. And performers like Josh Groban and Andrea Boccelli brought a younger audience to classical. Yes, it's less popular with the under 30 crowd, but there is still an audience. Do what you do, there will be an audience, and they will find you.
And just for the record, the same could be said for jazz - it takes a little more understanding of the beauty of music to have a taste for classical and jazz and once that ear starts getting developed many turn their interest.
