A question to tamil music fans: why does the carnatic singers are doing so? Why cant they sing in ta

In december month, its very usual to see lot of carnatic music programmes in TAMILNADU. But they are doing the programme in TAMILNADU only, but why cant they sing atleast one or two tamil songs like bharathiyaar, bharathidaasan paadalkal in carnatic music? Why are they always prefer Telgu kirthaanas alone? Is it sin to sing a tamil song in TAMILNADU?
@veers: do you think that no one is going to object, I dont think so. Hmmm also, I dont have that much capacity to organise a music programme. K coming to your point, without knowing the meaning why do we need to listen? Why does the carnatic music followers are thinking that this is for only upper class? I MEAN, WHY CANT THEY USE Thier music to all level of people? Why cant they sing bharathiyaar SHAKTHI PAADALKAL? My opinion is why cant they translate it into tamil and then sing? I m not expecting the tamil songs to be sing in kerala, andhra pradesh. but atleast in TAMILNADU!
@veer:sir, thanks for the edit part. You are mistaken me. This is not regional sentiment, there is no problem if everyone sings Telgu kirthanai's but also why cant they sing tamil too! I think you are not getting me, there are lot of singers who thinks that singing in tamil is not a pride(like sivakumar in sindhu bhairavi). so, thatsy I asked this question. Anyhow, i thank you for your information.

Hi brother. First of all no (pure) tamilians hear to those keerthanai's. It is the brahmins who uses carnatic music. Instead we all know brahmins are not tamils, but they are aryans.so dont care about them. We have a wonderful film songs and music directors in tamil. Carnatic music is just a copy of tamil sangam isai. And moreover nattuppura isai(folk music) is the real music of tamilians. These are only music belongs to tamils. We can also hear western music. So enjoy film songs&folk songs. So dont care about these anti-tamil aryan brahmins.
