I saw sum Tamil film with subtitle version like Anniyan,Dhaam dhoom, dasavatharam,vettaiyadu villayadu,billa,vaaranam ayiram,alaipayuthey,sivaji,run,kushi, etc
in all the film the cinematography,music,editing ,screen play every thing is perfect but i saw sum bollywood film with sum drawbacks in editing etc
although bollywood occupies the whole north india ,why there is no gr8 quality. But tamil film is only from tamilnadu. Ar rahman ,mani ratnam, nirav shah also from TN AND ALSO doing many project in tamil cinema. Harris jayaraj music was awesum more than arr but he is also only for tamil cinema. .

i saw many hindi films, but most of them are always related to love and no different story line and also hindi movies are losing its value. hindi people are jus trying to be like hollywood level and they just reveal too much clothes. where did the indian value go??

come on we got hollywood english movies for that, the hindi ppl should focus on their traditional things as well with equal entertainment.

this is why i prefer tamil movies more since they are still into their culture and they do different kind of movies all the time. and tamil movies got the best music ever. hindi / bollywood film songs are so slow and boring.

not only tamil, but telugu is also good. i think the south indian such as tamil, telugu and even malayalam are waaay better than north indian films.

yeah its tamil at this time. bollywood has more money but less art.

You can't compare bollywood to tollywood. Tollywood is only regional while bollywood caters to a larger audience.

Yah, I agree you that tamil films have a very good quality, but for very good business the language and characters must be popular. In Hindi films the language hindi and the superstars are very popular. Also, some directors in bollywood make films on the basis of events which goes in the hearts of the people. So, these films do good business and have good outlook. Technically, tamil are better but hindi films are popular.

If you don't think as diplomatic answer, both of them have their own edges.

Kollywood - Innovative, Original, Creative (But lacks richness and crude content)

Bollywood - Flamboyant, Greater reach, Real fun (But lacks Creatvity, boring romance and wasting money on aesthetics)
